Walnut Lake OBGYN and Wellness is a four clinician practice inside the UWH of Michigan network, and Dr. O'Keefe is the one there who holds the menopause certification. She sees women from adolescence through menopause and keeps a pregnancy and gynecologic surgery practice alongside the menopause work. Her own page says she provides a full range of menopause treatments including the Mona Lisa Touch laser for vaginal dryness and pain with sex. A colleague in the same office offers that laser as well, so it is not hers alone. The practice bills insurance and publishes its own list of accepted plans on its page. New patients can choose her by name in the booking tool and book a first visit.
Dr. Marcotte is an OB/GYN at a large women's health group in West Bloomfield whose physicians all provide menopause care. Her own focus is minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including vaginal and laparoscopic hysterectomy and repair of bladder leakage and pelvic prolapse. That makes her a good fit for women whose menopause symptoms come with bleeding, prolapse or incontinence problems that may need a procedure. The practice treats menopause with hormone therapy, estrogen therapy and non-hormonal prescriptions. Before joining the center she trained resident physicians in Cincinnati. Care is in person at the West Maple Road office, which says it is always accepting new patients.
