Intima Wellbeing is a solo practice in Findlay with a second office in Tiffin. Bethany Parsell is a urology and family nurse practitioner who treats women and men for hormone changes, pelvic floor problems and sexual health concerns. Hormone care covers perimenopause and menopause alongside testosterone deficiency, and she prescribes bioidentical hormone therapy or non-hormonal options depending on the patient. First appointments run 45 minutes to an hour and follow-up visits run at least 20 minutes. She also does pelvic floor muscle training, bladder and pelvic floor botox, and sacral neuromodulation for leaking and pelvic pain. Partners can be seen at the same visit when a concern affects both people.

  • Canton, OH · In person & virtual

Dr. Lemin is one of eight physicians at Atrium OB/GYN, a long-running gynaecology and obstetrics group in Canton. She lists midlife women's health, including perimenopause and menopause, as a particular interest alongside minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery. She is also board certified in obesity medicine, which is unusual for a gynaecologist and useful for women whose weight shifts in midlife. Visits are in person at the practice's office, which also has its own ultrasound, lab and mammography services on site. Menopause concerns are billed as an office visit rather than folded into an annual exam, so it helps to book them as their own appointment.

Northwest Ob/Gyn is a group practice in Hilliard with seven doctors and a nurse practitioner, and it does a lot of obstetrics alongside gynecology. Dr. Miller is the only Menopause Society Certified Practitioner there, and her own bio says she specializes in preventive health care for women and gynecology. The practice lists menopause education and hormone replacement therapy among its gynecology services. Care is in person at the one Hilliard office and visits are by appointment only, with no walk ins. New patients bring or enter their paperwork through the online portal before the first visit, and the same portal is where patients request appointments, get results and message their doctor afterward. She trained at Vanderbilt and was in private practice there before joining Northwest.

Gretchen M. Fermann

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

  • West Chester, OH · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +33

Dr. Fermann is a gynecologist with UC Health, the University of Cincinnati academic health system, and sees adults at its West Chester South medical office. Her own profile lists menopause, perimenopause and hot flashes among her clinical interests, alongside general gynecology. She also names primary ovarian insufficiency, pelvic pain and vulvar pain, which makes her a sensible choice for women with early menopause or painful sex. Care runs through a large hospital system that bills insurance, so this is regular office gynecology and not a stand-alone menopause program. New patients book by calling the office. She also teaches as volunteer faculty at the UC College of Medicine.

Kellie Greene is one of only two providers at One Medical's Dublin office in the Bridge Park loop, which One Medical runs in collaboration with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She spent more than 20 years in direct patient care before her nine years as a nurse practitioner in family practice, and she sees patients of all ages. Her own stated clinical interests are paediatrics, preventive care and women's health. One Medical names menopause among the women's health issues its primary care providers handle, but no page on the site says what it prescribes for it. The office keeps drop-in lab hours, takes bookings online without a membership, and lists her by name with her own appointment times.

Far Hills OB/GYN is a seven-physician group with two offices on Far Hills Avenue in Washington Township, south of Dayton. The practice runs pregnancy care and general gynecology side by side, and its service list includes menopausal evaluation and treatment along with counseling on hormone options. Kennebeck joined the group in 2005, after medical school at the Uniformed Services University and a residency based at Travis Air Force Base in California. Care is in person, with the practice's own lab for blood draws and ultrasound done in the office, and new patients fill in registration and history forms before a first visit. For vaginal and urinary changes after menopause the office offers the MonaLisa Touch laser, done over three sessions with a yearly maintenance treatment. Patients quoted on the practice's own site mention seeing her for ten years or more.

Women's Integrative Medicine OB/GYN is a five clinician practice in Westerville that runs obstetrics and gynecology together and describes its own approach as integrative. Its menopause page says the team builds a treatment plan using hormone replacement therapy and integrative medicine options. Carey spent sixteen years in labor and delivery at Mount Carmel St. Ann's before she qualified as a nurse practitioner, and she still takes low risk pregnancy care alongside well woman visits and general gynecologic concerns. Her own page says she works closely with the practice physicians and names patient education and preventative wellness care as her interest. The About page also points patients to a branded supplement line it calls hormone therapy supplements. New patients sign up for the portal, download their forms there and arrive fifteen minutes early for the first visit.

Accepting new patients
  • Cleveland, OH · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Cigna +25

Dr. Thacker directs Cleveland Clinic's Center for Specialized Women's Health on the main campus, and the department she heads there is named for menopause. The center works as one interdisciplinary clinic, so gynecology, endocrinology, psychiatry and breast specialists see women in the same place. Her own write-up says the focus is menopausal and hormone risk assessment and therapy, and the center's service list names menopausal hormone therapy, osteoporosis treatment including yearly infusions, and medical treatment of urine leakage. She writes at length about FDA approved pelvic floor stimulator devices that are custom fit and can be used at home in place of surgery or medication. The center also offers shared medical appointments, where up to fifteen women with similar problems spend about ninety minutes with a physician together instead of a short one on one visit. She wrote the Cleveland Clinic Guide to Menopause and runs the Speaking of Women's Health education program and podcast.
